Swindon started off looking the better side, but it was Blackpool who scored first against the run of play on 18 minutes when the the referee gave Blackpool a free kicks, which looked like it should have been given to Swindon for a foul on Sam Parkin, but Blackpool took the kick in their own half quickly, and the ball reached who scored past the advancing Rhys Evans. Parker was then booked for over-celbrating in front of the Town End.
Swindon had a lot of early chances with Rory Fallon starting with Sam Parkin up front coming close with a number of early headers.
Sam Parkin also have a number of shots cleared away, but he scored on 36 minutes when he found the ball at his feet from 10 yards out to make it his 13th goal of the season.
Then as it looked to be heading for a 1-1 draw going into the break Swindon took the lead when a Smith pass, reached Fallon who passed to Parkin to score from 30 yards pass the 'keeper who was off his line, the ball rolled slowly towards to goal line, and just crept over the line. The game kicked off, and the referee then blew up for half time within a couple of seconds.
Swindon had the ball in the back of the net again on 49 minutes, but the goal from Smith was ruled out because of a foul on the 'keeper.
Sam Parkin had a few chances to get his hat-trick coming close on 70 minutes, but he just couldn't get his shots on target.
Miglioranzi came on after 75 minutes for the first time since the end of September replacing Steve Jenkins, and played well for the final 15 minutes.
Swindon started to waste time from about 80 minutes when they should have been pushing forward for a third goal, although Parkin came close to scoring again in the final 5 minutes.
The 4th official held up the board for 4 minutes and after 3 3/4 minutes of play Blackpool equalised after a goal from Peter Clarke as the Swindon defence just sat back.
Overall a draw was a fair result, but Swindon should have won if they had taken all their chances with Parkin, and Fallon both missing good chances in front of goal. Like the FA Cup game against Notts County this isn't the first time Swindon have sat back, when they should be trying to finish off the game.
Swindon's next game is away to Brentford on Saturday. 3 weeks ago Swindon beat Brentford 3-0 at the County Ground, so they need another win to keep the pressure on the teams in the play off's.
