Loan signing Sean O'Hanlon opened the scoring for Swindon on 32 minutes with a header following a corner. This was O'Hanlon's first goal since joining Swindon on loan from Everton last month.

Chesterfield rarely had much of a chance on goal, coming close only once in the first half.

In the second half Swindon went close a number of times, including nearly scoring from an Andy Gurney free kick.

Sam Parkin made sure of all three points for Swindon in the 86th minute with a close range goal making it his 16th goal of the season.

Overall a good win. Swindon played well, with the second half being the better half. Unlike the past two games they weren't many goalscoring chances from either side.

The win keeps Swindon in 4th place on 54 points. Swindon's next game is away to Port Vale next Saturday.
