The first half was uneventful, a complete change on last weeks game.
On 56 minutes with the score still at 0-0 Swindon were reduced to ten men when Alan Sheehan was sent off for a bad tackle. He didn't notice at first he had been sent off as the card was shown so quickly Sheeham was still facing the other way.
On 60 minutes Leyton Orient took the lead with a goal from Spring.
But a couple of minutes later a diving header from Charlie Austin made the scores level at 1-1.
Former Swindon player Alex Revell made it 2-1 on 78 minutes with a close range header.
Swindon were able to equaliser again on 84 minutes when a free kick from just outside the box went straight in after being taken by Rose to make it 2-2.
