Paul Sturrock made one change to the team that played against Hereford with Blair Sturrock starting instead of Lucas Jutkiewicz.

Blair Sturrock got Swindon off to a good start with a goal after just 2 minutes when it was able to lob the ball over the 'keeper to make it 1-0 to Swindon.

Swindon went close again with a header from Lee Peacock heading just over the bar, and Christian Roberts also went close for Swindon.

Swindon again had plenty of the ball in the second half, and should have made it 2-0 on 63 minutes when they were awarded a penalty after a foul on Barry Corr. Jack Smith took the penalty, but the Torquay 'keeper was able to push the ball away after a good save.

Jutkiewicz came on to replace Sturrock, and Brown came on to replace Roberts.

On 82 minutes Torquay were given a penenalty after a foul in the box, and they scored with Lee Thorpe taking the spot kick to make it 1-1.

Within a minute Swindon had equalised with a shot from Jutkiewicz from the edge of the box just beating the Torquay 'keeper to make it 2-1 to Swindon.

Overall a good game and a very important win for Swindon as Milton Keynes lost so Swindon were able to extend their lead over the play off places to 6 points with just 4 games to go. The defeat looks set to leave Torquay in the Conference next season as they need to win all 4 games to have any chance of staying up.
