Swindon 2 Wrexham 1

It was Wrexham who took the lead after only 8 minutes when Marc Williams headed in from close range to give the Welsh side the lead.
Swindon equalised with a minute when Curtis Weston won the ball back for Swindon near the corner flag and crossed the ball in for Zaaboub to score his first goal for the club.

Swindon came close to scoring a couple of times before the half time break, with the best chance falling to Micheal Pook who's quick free kick nearly caught the 'keeper off guard, but he was just quick enough to make a good save.

The start of the second half was fairly unevenyful, and it wasn't until the 70th minute that Swindon were awarded a penalty after a hand ball in the box. Christian Roberts took the kick and sent the 'keeper the wrong way to make it 2-1.

Ricky Shakes came close to making it 3-1, after beating a number of Wrexham defenders his shot went just wide when he only had the 'keeper to beat.

Overall an average game, which Swindon had more chances then Wrexham, so deserved to win. The win moves Swindon back up to 2nd place in the League Two table. Swindon now travel to Boston next weekend.
