In the first half both teams had chances with Barnsley hitting the bar, and haveing a goal disallowed, Swindon also had a Steve Robinson goal disallowed.
On 30 minutes Barnsley were given a penalty, and scored, but just 3 minutes later Sam Parkin scored his first league goal for Swindon.
On 51 minutes Danny Invincibile made a run forward, his shot was half saved by the keeper, before Sam Parkin finished the shot adding his second goal of the season.
With 5 minutes to go new signing Gareth Edds was tripped in the bos, Sam Parkin took the penalty and scored his hat trick. Parkin had also had another goal disllowed.
