After a slow first half Swindon took the lead on 50 minutes with a close range shot from Paul Benson to make it 1-0.
On 64 minutes new signing midfielder Alan Navarro made it 2-0, then on 75 minutes he scored again to make it 3-0. Navarro only signed for Swindon in the summer from Brighton where he had only scored once in 2 years, but he was able to score twice in one game past his old club.
Swindon start their league action on Saturday with a long distance trip all the way to Hartlepool.
