Swindon got off a to great start with Billy Paynter scoring after only 4 minutes.
By 23 minutes Swindon had scored again with a goal from Craig Easton, then on by 31 minutes Easton had scored again making it 3-0.
Any chance of a repeat of the score line from 11 seasons ago when Swindon won 6-0 was short lived as Huddersfield were given a penalty on 43 minutes which Jevons scored by sending Phil Smith the wrong way.
On 61 minutes Swindon were reduced to ten men when Lee Peacock was sent off for a tackle on Kamara.
Then on 76 minutes Billy Paynter was sent off was a hand ball on the goal line which stopped a goal bound shot. Huddersfield still managed to score, but the goal was disallowed and a penalty given. The was also scored by Jevons with his second goal of the evening.
Huddersfield came close to getting a late equaliser. Even their goal keeper came on for a late corner, and managed to get a touch of the ball, but Swindon held on to win 3-2.
