Yeovil had the first early chances with two shots having to be cleared off the line in the opening ten minutes of play.

But it was Swindon who took the lead when on 13 minutes Billy Paynter shot found the back of the net.

On 22 minutes Austin made it 2-0 when he just reached the ball and was able to force it into the back of the net making it 7 goals in 7 games for Austin.

Yeovil pulled a goal back on 27 minutes when a mis-hit cross from Gavin Tomlin went straight in.

13 seconds into the second half Danny Ward make it 3-1 for Swindon with a shot from the edge of the box.

Swindon came close a few more times throughout the game but couldn't add their score. Yeovil rarely threatened again after they had scored their first and only goal of the afternoon. Overall it was a good and well deserved win for Swindon who now face Fulham in the FA Cup in their next game.
