Simon Cox opened the scoring for Swindon early on with a close range goal after 7 monutes to make it 1-0.

It was a fairly uneventful remaining first half until 37 minutes when Danny Hollands equalised from 12 yards out to make it 1-1 going into the half time break.

Swindon soon took the lead at the start of the second half after only 48 minutes after a poor clearance from the Bournemouth's keeper fell to Billy Paynter who was able to walk the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-1 to Swindon.

Another Paynter goal was ruled out for offside. The linesman's flag had been up for a few seconds before the ball ended up in the back of the net.

A second goal by Billy Paynter on 64 minutes gave Swindon a 3-1 lead.

Zaaboub should have scored for Swindon when a cross fell to him, but he hit it wide, but Swindon were soon 4-1 up with another close range goal by Billy Paynter on 85 minutes giving him a hat-trick.

Overall a good game which Swindon deserved to win, and made the most of Bournemouth's missing three of their defenders. The win moves Swindon back up to 7th ahead of their trip to London this weekend to face Millwall at The Den.
