Most of the new signings were on the bench, and Swindon started with just one change from the side that lost against Gillingham with Andy Gurney replacing the injured Sean O'Hanlon.
Swindon had a good start with Swindon having some good crosses put into the box, but they were unable to score with Bournemouth always clearing the ball away.
Swindon finally scored when Jamie Cureton scored his first goal of the season for Swindon on 37 minutes from 10 yards out. Swindon went into the half time break still winning 1-0.
In the second half came another 5 goals to keep the crowd of 6,092 entertained. Swindon's first chance in the second half fell to Jamie Cureton but somehow his shot went well over the bar when it looked to have been easier to have scored.
On 52 minutes Cureton had another shot half saved, and the ball rebounded to Miglioranzi who scored with his first goal since April 2004.
A mistake by Steve Jenkins led to Bournemouth getting a goal back on 59 minutes when Rodrigues scored from 5 yards out.
Then on 68 minutes Swindon gave away a penalty after a foul by Charlie Comyn-Platt, and although Rhys Evans dived the correct way James Hayter's shot had too much power on it, and Bournemouth had equalised to make it 2-2.
New signing Lee Peacock came on after 75 minutes to replace Jamie Cureton.
On 79 minutes Swindon retook the lead when a cross from Steve Jenkins found the head of top scored Rory Fallon who scored from 8 yards out beating the diving 'keeper to make it 3-2 to Swindon.
Swindon then looked to have scored a 4th late on, but the ball had gone into the side netting, but a minute or 2 later deep into stoppage time they did get their 4th goal with the Bournemouth 'keeper out of his box near the corner falg Swindon were able to get the ball around him for new signing Lee Peacock to score his first goal for the side into the empty net.
This was Swindon's biggest win since the 4-2 win over Yeovil back in August. Overall it was a good game, and it was good to see all 3 strikers scoring. When bournemouth got it back to 2-2 Swindon didn't fall apart like they might have done in the past.
The win still leaves Swindon 23rd, but they are now only 4 points away from safety going into Friday night's away trip to Southend United.
