Swindon romped to an overwhelming victory against lowly Southend to ease the pressure on manager Andy King.
The Robins entered the game with just one win in their last 12 matches but John Jackson gave them a ninth minute lead with a thirty yard free kick.
Graham Jones levelled the sores against the run of play 13 minutes later but midfielder Jimmy Davis restored Swindon's advantage after 24 minutes before Matthew Heywood added the third on the stroke of half time.
Danny Invincible netted a fourth after 49 minutes before Stefani Miglioranzi and Sam Pakin completed the scoring late on, after Shimpers midfielder Steve Clark's 69th minute dismissal for a second bookable offence
