Torquay who haven't scored in the league for two months came close a number of times with Smith being forced to make a number of good saves to keep Town in front. One time he was beat Swindon were saved by having two defenders on the line to clear the ball away.

Overall a good win for Swindon who were holding one to the lead right up the the 5 minutes of stoppage time which was added to the game. Torquay were very unlucky not to score at least once. Swindon's next game is at home to Bury next Saturday.
