Andy King only played one up front with Rory Fallon being the only striker on the pitch, and Roberts, and Cureton on the bench. Andy Gurney also started as captain replacing the injured Sean O'Hanlon, and Miglioranzi also started replacing Cureton.

After all the goals and action on Saturday this was a much low keyed game with few chances from either side, but new loan goal keeper Tom Heaton was forced to make a number of good saves to keep the score level at 0-0.

Tranmere took the lead on 58 minutes with a shot from close range by Chris Greenacre, although their were failed Swindon appeals that he was offside.

Swindon rarely looked like scoring, even after Roberts and Cureton were bought on to play with 3 up front it still didn't look enough. A few long distance shots from Gurney went close, but over.

Overall a fairly average game where goal keeper Tom Heaton was man of the match for Swindon for a number of good saves he was forced to make. Swindon never looked like scoring, although Tranmere came close a number of times. Swindon travel to the Midlands on Saturday to play Walsall in a 1pm kick off.
