Andy Nicholas started the game replacing the injured Hasney Aljofree. There was no start for Tommy Mooney for Walsall, but Lee Holmes who was on loan at Swindon started for them as he's now on loan at Walsall.

Walsall took the lead after 22 minutes after Brezovan hadn't be able to fully save the ball, and Sonko was able to score the rebound from close range making it 1-0.

Swindon were having plenty of the play, but only had a few long distance shots on goal before on 65 minutes following a corner Andy Nicholas was able to score from close range making it 1-1.

Then on 67 minutes Swindon took the lead when a cross by Sturrock found the unmarked Craig Easton who headed in from close range.

Swindon's lead didn't last long as within a minute Walsall drew level again with a headed goal by Sonko making it 2-2.

After these 4 minutes of action the game calmed down again, and finished 2-2 which was a fair result as both sides had plenty of the ball. Swindon now take a break from the league when they face Barnet on Tuesday evening in the FA Cup 3rd Round replay.
