17 year old Ben Tozer started for Swindon along with Michael Pook, Blair Sturrock, Barry Corr and Jack Smith.

Wycombe came close during the first half when only 2 yards off their goal line they managed to hit the bar over the bar, although it wouldn't have counted as the flag was up for offside.

Peter Brezovan had a to make a few good saves to keep the score level at 0-0 going into the half time break.

Christian Roberts came on for Swindon in the second half, and scored after 66 minutes from a tight angle much to the pleasure of the 800 fans who had travelled from Swindon behind the goal.

Billy Payner put Swindon 2-0 up after 72 minutes with a shot from the edge of the box beating the diving Wycombe 'keeper.

A mix up in the Swindon defence allowed Matt Bloomfield to pull a goal back for the home side after 83 minutes.

Despite 4 minutes of stoppage time and a few scares Swindon held on to make it into the FA Cup 2nd Round. Overall a good win in a game which could have gone either way.
