This Time Last Year...

November 2004 was a mixed month on the pitch starting with a 2-1 away win against Conference side Exeter City in the LDV Vans Trophy, then losing 2-1 away to Tranmere Rovers, before thrashing Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 in the FA Cup, then hitting 4 past top of the table Hull City with a 4-2 home win with two goals from Parkin, one from O'Hanlon, and a 90th minute goal from Christian Roberts.

Other results that month included a 1-0 away defeat to Chesterfield, and the month finished off with a 1-0 home win in the LDV Vans Trophy against local rivals Bristol City watched by 7,571.

Steve Jenkins signed for Swindon from Peterborough after a month on loan, and he's now a regular first team player.

The council gave their backing for the redevelopment of the County Ground, a year we don't seem to be any closer in any work starting, so it looks like the County Ground will remain as it is for now.
