During February 2005 it was a good month on the pitch with a 2-1 away win over Oldham, a 2-1 home win over Barnsley, a 2-2 away draw at Torquay, a 1-0 home win over Port Vale, and a 1-1 away draw against Doncaster Rovers.
Off the pitch there were calls for Andy King to be sacked or moved "Upstairs" but he managed to hold onto his job for the month. Instead assistant manager Mike Walsh left the club and was replaced by Mick Harford, Alan Reeves and Ian Woan.
Rory Fallon went out on loan at Yeovil Town after having limited chances at Swindon during the season. Swindon were hoping Grant Smith would sign a new contract after a good recent run, but he didn't sign in the end.
Lee Holmes was allowed to stay another month on loan at the County Ground from Derby County, and TrustSTFC paid for Michael Proctor to join on a months loan from Rotherham United. He scored against Port Vale to give Swindon a 1-0 win.
