On the pitch is was a fairly poor month losing away to Milton Keynes 3-1, then at home Port Vale 2-1, but Swindon picked up draws against Brentford 0-0, and 1-1 draws at home to Scunthorpe and away to Huddersfield. Swindon also beat Stevenage 2-0 at home in the LDV Vans Trophy.

New manager Iffy Onoura also signed Hameur Bouazza on loan from Watford, and let Jamie Cureton go out on loan to Colchester which proved very successful for him as he scored 7 goals in 6 games.
