A number of players left the club, with goal keeper Rhys Evans joining Blackpool, and Sean O'Hanlon joining Milton Keynes, also leaving was Stefani Migliorazi who moved back to the USA, and could be playing along side David Beckham next season for LA Galaxy. Jamie Cureton also left to join Colchester.
Iffy Onoura was sacked as manager, with Alan Reeves also leaving. He was replaced by Dennis Wise, and Gus Poyet taking charge at the County Ground.
