On the pitch it was a mixed month starting with 1-0 home win over Morecambe in the FA Cup 2nd round, before losing 2-0 away at Mansfield, then beating Walsall 2-0 away, beating Bristol Rovers 2-1 at home, then losing 2-1 away at Macclesfield, finishing the year with a 2-1 home win over Wycombe, and a 1-1 home draw over Notts County.

Blair Sturrock signed for Swindon on a free transfer from Rochdale. TrustSTFC came up with the idea of wearing Orange as a protest at how the club was being run.
