On the pitch it was a mixed month losing 3-0 to Stockport, the worse defeat of the season, and 1-0 away at Grimsby. There were wins however at home to Accrington Stanley 2-0, 3-2 over Lincoln City on Sky TV, and 2-1 at home to Shrewsbury Town. At the end of the month Swindon were in 3rd place with 73 points.
Meanwhile Barry Corr joined Swindon from Sheffield Wednesday.
There was much talk about if Bristol Rovers would be ground sharing with either Swindon or Cheltenham. Cheltenham were chosen, but building work was delayed so they are still playing in Bristol for now.
