On the pitch the month was mixed with 1-1 draws at home to Crewe and away to Hartlepool. There was two 4-1 wins at home over Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and Bournemouth in the league. Swindon also lost 1-0 at home to Yeovil, but beat Millwall 2-1 away.
Elsewhere Billy Paynter joined Swindon from Southend in a last minute transfer deadline day move.
Paul Sturrock was being linked with the mangers job at Leicester, but this never happened.
Goal Keeper Peter Brezovan had a trail with Everton, but again this came to nothing.
